We met when our youngest children were in the same Kindergarten classroom. We became good friends through planning classroom parties, attending Bible studies and participating in neighborhood activities. After several years as stay at home moms, we both found ourselves teaching full time in our neighborhood elementary school. In order to benefit our families, we made the decision to teach part-time and job shared a first grade classroom.
Between the two of us, we have over twenty years experience working with children and parents. Over time, it became evident to us that many children were beginning school lacking the necessary skills for success. It is our hope and desire as teachers and mothers, that we can help your little ones get off to a great start!
As mothers ourselves, we understand the challenges of raising children in this hectic world. Our wish for you is to enjoy spending quality time with your preschoolers through reading, language and math activities while at the same time developing their fine motor skills and social skills to prepare them to be life long learners. Go ahead and jump in to our blog and have fun with your kids as they discover their creativity through the wonderful world of literature.
